When it comes to no-bake cheesecakes, it is unsure where and when its origin started but what I know is that it’s similar to a mousse. The flavour of the cheesecake is dominated by the sweetness and chocolatey flavour of the Oreos, which are the star ingredient. ingredients

  • for the oreo crust

    • 160 gramoreo powder
    • 50 gramunsalted butter
  • for the cheesecake filling

    • 4 gramgelatin powder
    • 10 mlcold water
    • 200 gramcream cheese
    • 25 gramsugar
    • 0.5 tspsalt
    • 200 mlwhip cream
    • 5 pc(s)oreo cookie(for chopping)
  • for the extras

    • 5 pc(s)oreo cookies(for filling)

Make the oreo crust

  1. Add unsalted butter to a saucepan and let it melt on medium heat.

  2. In a bowl, add oreo powder along with the melted butter.

  3. Use some acetate or cake mould and add your crust mixture.

  4. Flatten the crust with a spatula and spread it out evenly. Let it set in the fridge for at least 20 mins.

  5. Add cream cheese, salt and sugar into a bowl. Whisk until homogenous.

  6. Add some cold water to your gelatin powder and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  7. Melt the gelatin in a bowl of hot water.

  8. Add melted gelatin to the cream cheese mixture and mix until homogeneous.

  9. Chop the oreo cookies (for chopping) into rough pieces.

  10. Add the chopped oreo into the cream cheese mixture and mix well.

  11. Whisk the whip cream until medium peaks.

  12. Add half of the whipped cream and fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Add the other half and mix until homogeneous .

  13. Add half of the mixture to the crust and spread evenly. Add the oreo cookies (for filling). Add the rest of the cream cheese mixture and spread it evenly. Cover the top of mould with some cling wrap and let the cake set for at least 4 hours.

  14. You can decorate it with more oreos, cut a slice and enjoy!
