Chicken Schnitzel originated in Vienna, Austria. This dish is chicken breast that is breaded and deep-fried.

If you're a beginner and currently looking for a simple yet delicious recipe to follow, then you're in the right place. Here, I will show you a recipe for Chicken schnitzel served with Creamy Mushroom Sauce.

Although this recipe is quite simple, the taste is so good. I mean, who doesn't love fried chicken with creamy sauce?

For the Creamy Mushroom Sauce, I will use wood ear mushroom, but you can also use champignon mushroom. To make it creamy, I use cheddar cheese and milk.

As a result of this recipe, you will get a crispy sensation from the Chicken Schnitzel combined with a creamy yet so rich sauce made of cheese and milk. The richness of taste makes this recipe worth your try.

Note:

  • The ideal temperature to fry chicken is 350°F/175°C
  • When coating the chicken with bread crumbs, you must gently press and massage it to ensure it's all evenly coated. You also have to make sure that the bread crumbs stick well with the chicken.
  • When you are making the sauce, you will add milk, put the cheese and the ingredients. You must be careful in this part because the sauce will be thick easily. I suggest you stir it quickly. If the sauce is thick enough, then turn off the fire. Do not wait until the sauce is dry.
  • For the sides can be eaten with french fries and mashed potatoes.
